The Plan

The plan is to leave on Sunday 22nd May and return into the UK on Monday 30th May.
Travelling down through Holland to Germany to the Eiffel Mountains ( includes The Nurburg Ring & Mosel Valley )

There are two options for accommodation:

1. Camping at Victoria Station. ( We have stayed there before and this is a great camp site. A couple of restaurants near by.)
2. B&B or small hotel in Adenau. This is very close to “ The Ring.” There are a number of restaurants in the town.

There will be daily rides (if you want).

Ferry Crossing

Crossing from Newcastle to IJmuden by DFDS.

It is everyone's responsibility to book their own ferry.
The best option is to travel in pairs in twin cabins.
At present:-

• 2 sharing with 2 bikes (evening meal included) is working out at £180 pp.
• 2 sharing with 1 bike (evening meal included) is £149.00 pp.

MCN offer a discount on ferries but next year is not agreed yet.
It is difficult to say if waiting would save money as the ferry prices increase as berths are sold. www.motorcyclenews.com

Special Points:

Bikes must have insurance, European Recovery and be in a serviceable state.
E111 card is a must.
We ride as a group and look after each other remembering we are representing our club.

If you’ve not been abroad on a motorcycle before this is a great week as a taster. No huge miles, great roads and good company . Ask those that went in 2009 and look at the photos.
