Due to unforseen changes in Neil's Holiday allocation, these dates are no longer valid. Neil has proposals for other dates and some alternative destinations. These will be discussed in the forthcoming meetings and the options put forward for a club decision.


This is the trip Neil has had proposed for next year.

10 day trip.

Leaving Newcastle Friday 30^th July, returning Monday 9^th August.
2 days hard riding down to Italy (approx. 350 miles per day), with an overnight stop on the way. .

No camping so can travel light.

5 nights spent at the Hotel in Italy, then 2 or possibly 3 day return trip to Ferry.

Ferry cost (as of October 2009) £215 per person solo, £180 per person for couple on one bike.

Overnight stay on journey to and from Italy (Formula 1 motel) €15 approx pppn.

Hotel "Motorradhotel Pension Berghang" (see below) price (approx. and subject to exchange rates): €42 per person Dinner B&B.
